The way to Boracay, one of the most visited islands in the Philippines is through the Caticlan port. The most convenient way of going to Caticlan from Manila is through flight, which major airlines offer.

But to those who have a limited budget and willing to spend some more time traveling,  another option is via ferry from Batangas to Caticlan. Travel time is much longer which is 9 hours but much affordable than the normal airplane tickets.

There are many buses that have trips from Manila to Batangas port. Then from Batangas, you board the ferry going to Caticlan.

Currently, 2 ferry companies offer trips to Caticlan (Boracay) from Batangas. These are 2GO Travel and Starlie Ferries. In this blog post, we will provide the complete details of these ferries from schedule to rates. So let’s start.

Starlite Ferries, Batangas to Caticlan

Starlite Ferries has 2 daily trips from Batangas to Caticlan and vice versa. The first trips to Caticlan are scheduled at 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

While the first trip from Caticlan to Batangas is at 6:00 AM and the last trip is at 7:30 PM. Travel time is approximately 10 hours. Please see the below schedule. Ports that are utilized for this service are the Port of Batangas (Sta, Clara, Batangas City) and the Caticlan Jetty Port.
