The fastest way to go to Laiya is by riding an ALPS Bus in its terminal ni EDSA Nepa Q-Mart in Cubao, going to San Juan, Batangas. ALPS, as of the moment, is the only bus company that has trips going to San Juan. As of December 2018, the fare is PHP 250 per person.
It’s quite a long travel of 3 to 4 hours depending on the traffic. Then once you arrived in San Juan, from the bus terminal, walk a few minutes until you reach the San Juan Public Market. There, look for the jeepneys going to San Juan. The fare is PHP 40 per person. Just tell the driver the resort where you’ll be staying in San Juan, and they will bring you to its nearest drop-off point to the resort.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Sabangan Beach Resort, and I can say that I am happy with the experience. We were a group of friends, and we stayed at Acacia Loft B. I like the homey and stylish design of the house, and also the spacious area below to chat and have some little drinks with friends.
The food was also excellent. I liked the Filipino cuisine. I liked their dinner menus more than lunch. Plus, you can also have a nice coffee in the morning while sitting at their veranda overlooking the beach. Nice experience. How to get to Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort
There are buses in Pasay that will take you directly to Calatagan like Crow Bus or Celyrosa Bus in Pasay near MRT Edsa Taft station. Be early as the first trip is 4 AM, then the last trip is 4 PM. You can also find buses bound to Calatagan at Manuela Metropolis Alabang for PHP 180.
Once you reach the Calatagan Bus Terminal, take a tricycle going to Brgy. Bagong Silang for PHP 150. Make sure you mention to the driver that you’re going to Stilts Calatagan Resort. You may also ask the driver to pick you up tomorrow or the day and time you’re going back to the terminal from the resort if you want to save time from the hassle of looking for tricycles outside the resort.
Of course, if you’re going there via a private car, Waze is a reliable option. Just to make sure you’re on the right track, take the SLEX then exit in Sta. Rosa. Then drive towards Tagaytay then drive towards Nasugbu, Batangas. Once you reach the junction called Palico, go for the road going to Lian until you reach Calatagan. Masasa Beach lies in the southern tip of Maricaban Island on the peaceful and quiet island municipality of Tingloy. The place is a favorite destination for those who want to experience something different.
Before, there are no resorts or accommodations in the area so that visitors would camp out at the seaside. However, due to environmental concerns and the increasing number of people visiting the area, camping is no longer permitted. Nonetheless, the warm and welcoming locals would be willing to rent a room if you ever decide to stay there for a night. But just recently, resorts and accommodations have started popping out in the area due to its increasing popularity.

Fortune Island
A few hours from Metro Manila, you can get a glimpse of the ruins of the Parthenon. Situated in the town of Nasugbu, Fortune Island offers scenery that looks like it is straight from the Greek empire. The cerulean waters and white sand shoreline ads to the overall feel of being in Greece.
Standing on the island are the Parthenon-like columns and Greek-inspired statues, which are said to be the remnants of an abandoned beach house. It can be accessed via a 40-60 minutes boat ride from Barangay Wawa in Nasugbu. The secluded location of the island makes it an ideal spot for camping, snorkeling, swimming, and many other activities.

Manuel Uy Beach
Located on the western end of the town of Calatagan, Manuel Uy Beach faces the Isla Verde Passage. This only means one thing; that is fantastic sunset views in the afternoon. The place is starting to get attention in recent years as one of the best spots for camping and the latest trend today – glamping (glamorous camping).
No cottages for rent are to be seen in the area since the place is developed to be a camping/picnic site. There also no accommodations available in the resort, and establishments can be seen except for the showers and toilet and staff stations.
Despite its growing popularity, the place is not yet too crowded, especially on weekdays, so you can still have a peaceful stroll on its long stretch of cream-colored shoreline.
Sombrero Island
Evident from its name, Sombrero Island is shaped like a hat. Nestled off the coast of Tingloy, this unique island offers two flavors in one spot. The brown rocky mountain, with its rounded peak, makes it a trek to conquer for many trekking enthusiasts. The mountain slopes down to the white sand beach that many beach lovers would love to see.

Sepoc Beach, Tingloy
Owned and managed by Eagle Point Beach Resort, Sepoc Beach Center is a strip of beautiful shoreline on the western end of Maricaban Island in the town of Tingloy. The beach is complete with an open-sided dining area, function area, and a bar that could accommodate up to a hundred guests. There are also restrooms, a watchtower, and hammocks around available for guests of the resort.

The place, however, has no sleeping accommodations, and camping and sleepovers are not allowed to maintain its natural state. The water around the beach is crystal clear and teeming with marine life, making it an excellent spot for swimming, diving, and snorkeling.
It is also near the Sepoc Wall, a famous diving spot, as well as the Sepoc Point, a popular scuba diving spot.
Bituin Cove
Known to locals as Angara Cove, the Bituin Cove is said to be owned by Sen. Edgardo Angara. Located off the coast of Barangay Calayo in Nasugbu, Bituin Cove is one of the many beautiful sand pockets around the province.
