Ah, at last, the Taal Lake and Volcano. Almost everyone who went to Tagaytay City had a picture of them taken with the Taal Volcano in the background. Just a sight of this wonderful creation of nature gives the tourists an unexplainable feeling of relaxation and mesmerization.

It’s just sad that as of the writing, the Taal Volcano recently recorded a phreatomagmatic eruption in the afternoon of July 1, 2021. This resulted in the evacuation of residents and ultimately the temporary closure of some businesses and restaurants. Usually, there are a lot of activities that can be done in Taal Lake and Volcano, however, visiting it now is not advisable because it poses a legitimate threat to everybody.

Moreover, because of Taal Volcano’s recent eruption last January 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot has changed. Tourists should be aware of current health and safety protocols to avoid unnecessary hassles. Other than that, get ready and have a memorable adventure during your visit to Tagaytay!
