BEST BEACHES IN CAVITE

The province of Cavite is a historical land, it’s filled with numerous historical sites and also the home to many well-known Filipinos like Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Republic.

It also has numerous places associated with the Philippine revolution, even the residence of Aguinaldo was also the site of the proclamation of independence from Spain on June 12, 1898.

 

But enough about history, let’s go to the present Cavite. The province is filled with natural resources and tremendous landscapes, it’s the perfect destination for travelers wanting to get out of the city and enjoy the island’s natural, man-made, and historical attractions! In this article, you’re going to see five of the best beaches in Cavite.

 

1. Patungan Beach Cove

One of the best places to relax and unwind! This beach is not yet known to many, it’s located in Maragondon, Cavite, not too far away from the city of Manila. You can get there in less than two hours! It’s a perfect getaway for those who just want to relax and be away from the hustle of the city. A public beach with one of the clearest of waters is also surrounded by scenic views of nearby hills, neighboring islands, and more! Aside from the beach, there are also other activities you can do like cliff diving, fish feeding, videoke, bonfire, and more.

This beach is also considered to be a fisherman’s paradise where the abundance of food and livelihood is dependent on its surrounding waters. You can expect to eat many delicious seafood dishes!

 

How to get there to Patungan Beach Cove?

If you’re traveling with a private vehicle, you can take the Coastal Road Expressway, stay on Cavitex Road, then take the Centennial Road or the Antero Soriano Highway that connects you to the Nasugbu-Ternate Highway. Take a left to Kaybiang tunnel and from there, keep going straight until you reach Patungan Beach Cove.

 

Since the pandemic is still ongoing, travelers are advised to have the proper health declaration forms, wear face masks and face shields, and social distancing at all times.

2. Marine Base Ternate Beach Resort

A beach resort that’s said to be the “Boracay of Cavite ” or Boracay de Cavite due to its pristine beach. You can enjoy a nice view of the beach and its surrounding nature. This is a must when you visit the province.

The resort is also very affordable, so you can enjoy the beach and nature without breaking your wallet. You can expect to pay less in this resort, the boat ride is only P50 per head, cottage rent goes around P300 to P1,500 depending on the size, and you can even rent a house! This is good for those who have family members with them or come in big groups (friends and family), rent ranges to around P3,000 for overnight stays, depending on the house. You can also bring your own tents.

(ihawan), to cook your own meals!

The beach resort is located in Ternate, Cavite. It’s not too far from the cities in Cavite. If you’re from Metro Manila and you wanna escape the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go!

3. Paniman Beach

A private beach resort where you can relax and even forget all the stress from city life. It’s not yet known to many that’s why it’s considered to be a hidden sanctuary to some.

The resort is located in Ternate, Cavite, inside the Puerto Azul golf resort. If you want somewhere where you can be at peace and just relax, then this is the place for you. The resort opens from 7 AM to 5 PM, they do not allow overnight stays, but there are some nearby hotels if you want to stay longer in the area. There are plenty of cottages to chill in, you can even bring your own tent. No tent pitching fee compared to other beach resorts.

The entrance fee is P300 per head, with no corkage fees. You can bring your own food! There are also stores nearby, videoke machines, and you can rent tables, chairs, and tents.

4. Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club

Designed by golf legend Gary Player back in the 80s, the country club has been one of the top country clubs in the Philippines for many years. It’s one of the perfect destinations for people from around the world come to enjoy not only the golf course but also its tropical amenities!

The club is also suitable for nongolfers to enjoy. The Puerto Azul offers a large clubhouse with a big swimming pool, while the beautiful Caysubic Beach can also be found. A nice place to take a break!  The golf course offers a panoramic view of the land, and it’s also quite breezy. The beach is serene, a perfect place to rest and relax.

5. Katungkulan Beach Resort

Protected by the Philippine Marines Corps, the name “Katungkulan ” is obviously a derivative of call of duty in English which means “katungkulan” in Tagalog. The beach is located within the General Gregorio Lim Marine Base in Sitio Calumpang, Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite.
